Tamayura
Shochiku is certainly being aggressive in getting some promotional material out there for the upcoming release of Tamayura ~more aggressive~ on DVD and Blu-ray. The series was one of the few shows that didn’t get a simulcast or license pickup from the summer season. Shochiku now has two brief spots out for the upcoming Blu-ray and DVD releases, with the characters talking to each other about them, that makes for some utterly cute bits with the way it’s all framed. The property began with a first season that began airing back in 2011 and returned for a second season this summer. While other shows listed all the volumes up front, Shochiku only showcased the first release early on and it’s pretty straightforward material. That volume, with two episodes, is scheduled for an October 30th, 2013 release for 7,350 yen. The initial solicitation information doesn’t provide any insights into what the disc will have for extras either or if there are any first press edition materials to be had.
Plot Concept: The story takes place in Seto Inland Sea and is about a girl who likes taking pictures.
