‘Arpeggio Of Blue Steel’ Opening Song Single Promo Debuts

We’ve had a slew of promos for the fall series Arpeggio of Blue Steel, but this week we get something a little different for the show. Nano, featuring My First Story, are doing the opening song for the series, Savior of Song, and the full length music video for it has been released today. The physical release is set for October 30th with several tracks to it and likely the DVD release included with it as well which will include the music video as we do often see those kinds of more limited edition releases. The video clocks in at  minutes and lets it play to some of the shows concepts with some fun naval ships in the background.

Known as Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio in Japan, the series is based on the manga by Ark Performance, which has seven volumes on hand so far in Japan, the new show is being directed by Seiji Kishi based on scripts by Makoto Uezu.

Plot Concept: In the story, a Fleet of Fog loaded with super weapons suddenly appear all over the world. Without the ability to withstand this fleet, humanity was defeated and could no longer travel the seas. 17 years after the devastating naval war, Chihaya Gunzou and his friends somehow commandeer a Fleet of Fog submarine and rename it I-401. Together with Iona, they take on the Fleet of Fog.
