With the general popularity of Freezing, it’s no surprise that the fanservice/action fest has gotten a second season that will debut soon in Japan with Freezing Vibration. Media Factory is setting up for the home video release already, which will have both the DVD and Blu-ray releases featuring the “director’s cut” version of the esries, which means completely uncensored. The show will begin release across six volumes starting on December 25th and monthly going forward from there where the blu-ray releases will run 7350 yen each and the DVD releases at 6300 yen each. Machine translation is a bit amusing when it comes to the first press material:
“Special tits and posters of original-down Ki Kwang鉉描, luxury first privilege that would see the full.”
Suffice to say, we’ll be getting some very fanservice oriented posters with it. The release will come with a special poster, drama CD that’s been newly written by the team behind the TV show and each volume will contain a new OVA (presumably a short) called “Zenetikkusu TV”.
Plot Concept: Set in a slightly futuristic world where Earth has been invaded and is at war with aliens from another dimension called the Nova, the story follows the adventures of a Japanese boy named Kazuya Aoi who enrolls for training at a special school for genetically modified girls called Pandoras who battle the aliens, and their male partners, called Limiters, who use a special power called “freezing” to limit their opponent’s mobility. The protagonist makes the acquaintance of an unusual older girl named Satellizer el Bridget who appears to be the most powerful Pandora in her class, but has not yet chosen a male partner to be her Limiter, and in spite of the warnings of all his friends, he decides to be her Limiter.
