With the DVD and Blu-ray announcements yesterday for Kokoro Connect from Sentai Filmworks, concern was raised over where the OVAs were since they carry through the TV series to a stronger ending point in the minds of many. Sentai Filmworks has let it be known, as you can see from the tweet from the ever reliable WTK below, that they will be coming but will be done separately at some future date. Which is better than how most OVA releases go, and especially OAD releases, into limbo and never get picked up.
Plot Concept: Five members of the school culture club – Taichi Yaegashi, Iori Nagase, Himeko Inaba, Yui Kiriyama, and Yoshifumi Aoki – encounter a bizarre phenomenon one day when Aoki and Yui switch personalities without warning. The same begins to happen to the other club members, throwing their daily lives into chaos. At first the five students find some amusement among the confusion, but this connection also exposes the painful scars hidden within their hearts… When their calm lives are shattered, the relationships between the five students also begin to change! less
[Sentai Filmworks] Kokoro Connect episodes 14 to 17 will have a release by itself. Release time frame is not known at this time.
