Slam Dunk
Toei continues to do a good job of getting a variety of their works available in North America for anime fans even if they haven’t gotten a home video pickup. One that’s been on the circuit for an age that just got a mild new push is Slam Dunk, a 101 episode series that has been on a few services since they brought it over. Originally part of their plans to release shows themselves on DVD that crashed and burned, they brought it to Hulu in the last couple of years and now have a new trailer to promote it.

Plot concept: Outcast hothead Hanamichi Sakuragi joins the Shohoku High School basketball team to impress a girl, only to discover that he’s a naturally gifted athlete who, with his teammates, make Shohoku High an all-star contender in Japan.
