Amazing Spider-Man 2

Amazing Spider-Man 2

Outside of the Iron Man films, one of the best things about the Marvel Studios films is that when they do hit their sequels, we’re not getting numbers. We’re getting names. Unfortunately, once Sony had a good hit on their hands with Amazing Spider-Man, they queued up three sequels and gave them all numbers. but now we’re seeing some international teases for what’s coming up since a new full trailer is slated to be released on December 5th and those teasers are giving us a subtitle that translates to Rise of Electro, though they’re still keeping the numbering in there as well. Not the best way to do it but at least it gives you a little something to grab onto and labels the film better than just a sequel for when it opens on May 2nd, 2014.

Plot concept: In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
