Nisekoi
The official site for Nisekoi has updated as part of the launch for the January 2014 premiere of the anime adaptation of the series. This comes at the same time that they’re kicking off the jewel app game with Aniplex, which you can check out here. With the site renewal, we’ve also got a new key visual to the right, which you can click on to see a larger version of, that gives us a look at the main cast of characters in all their glory. Nisekoi is based on the manga by Naoshi Komi which has been appearing in the US version of Weekly Shonen Jump since earlier this year. The series began back at the end of 2011 in Japan and has been running since. The first US graphic novel release for it is slated for January 7th, 2014, which will be perfect timing to drive up interest on both sides of the equation.
Akiyuki Shinbo will be directing the show with the following cast announced so far:

- Kana Hanazawa as Kosaki Onodera
- Mikako Komatsu as Seishirō Tsugumi
- Yumi Uchiyama as Ruri Miyamoto

Plot concept: As a child, Raku Ichijo made a secret promise with his childhood sweAetheart, keeping a pendant as a memento while his love took the key. He dreams of one day meeting his past love, but years later, reality smashes his hopes when Chitoge Kirisaki accidentally knees him in the face…
Though Raku’s a normal high schooler, his family heads the notorious yakuza gang the Shuei-Gumi faction! And he’s dragged into family affairs when he’s forced into a relationship with Chitoge, the daughter of a rival gang’s boss!
