Fairy Tail Phoenix Priestess
Madman Entertainment is continuing to add more Fairy Tail to their catalog of releases and they’ve announced a few more things that will be hitting. Similar to the drought that hit FUNimation before between releases, Madman is catching up as they’ve got the fifth and sixth collections out this fall and now has the seven collection scheduled for February 19th, 2014. They’ve also started to look into March as they’ve scheduled the Fairy Tail: Phoenix Princess feature for March 10th, 2014. That’s getting a separate DVD and Blu-ray release rather than a combo pack, which is how these releases have been done for the TV series as well.
Plot concept: The film revolves around a mysterious girl named Éclair who appears before Fairy Tail, the world’s most notorious wizard’s guild. She lost all of her memories, except for the imperative that she must deliver two Phoenix Stones somewhere. The stones may spell the collapse of the magical world, and Natsu, Lucy, and the rest of the Fairy Tail guild are caught up in the intrigue.
