Fleming
With a few riffs from the Goldeneye film sneaking in at the start, which is appropriate enough, we’ve got the first tease for the 2014 four part miniseries from BBC America’s Fleming. The short form series is set to take a look at the man the created the original James Bond novels, Ian Fleming, with how his life was in the midst of WWII and more. A good deal of what he wrote was from life experiences and stories from others, so there’s a lot of engaging material to work with, as well as the simple curiosity to see just how far they’ll go in revealing the true man as opposed to a glossy version of him considering he was very much the product of his upbringing and times. Dominic Cooper takes on the lead role as he stars along with Annabelle Wallis, Lara Pulver, Samuel West, Lelsley Manville, Rupert Evans and Anna Chancellor.
