We’re suckers for time travel movies and while we’re seeing a few people referencing this as Michael Bay’s attempt at producing a Primer film (impossible!), it definitely looks like a fun found-footage style piece called Welcome to Yesterday. Which was previously called Almanac. And sometimes called Cinema One. Produced by Michael Bay, it’s being directed by Dean Israelite and has mostly young unknowns for it as written by Andrew Stark, Jason Pagan and Andrew Deutschman. Paramount Pictures is distributing it with a planned February 28th, 2014 release.
Plot concept: A group of teens embark on an adventure when they discover secret plans to build a time machine.
