There’s going to be a fair bit of skin shown in Divergent just because of the tattoo aspect and that will certainly play well to the audience while also bringing the whole art form into the spotlight more, which is good. The first clip has hit here as we see Shailene Woodley talking with Theo James and asking to see it. Which is certainly brief overall but it shows a good bit of their relationship and mood of the film with how they’re doing it.
Based on the novel series by Veronica Roth which stars Shailene Woodley in the lead role, which is being directed by Neil Burger. The film has a solid cast to it with Kate Winslet, Theo James, Ashley Judd, Tony Goldwyn, Ray Stevenson, Mekhi Phifer, Maggie Q, Jai Courtney, Miles Teller, Zoë Kravitz, Ansel Elgort, Ben Lloyd-Hughes, Ben Lamb, Christian Madsen and Amy Newbold.
It’s set to debut on March 21st, 2014.
