Tamayura
One of those series that gets little notice outside of Japan and nothing when it comes to licensing or simulcasting, Tamayura ~More Aggressive~ is getting a little bit more in 2014. With the latest season having just finished up earlier this year, a new OVA is scheduled to hit on June 7th on both DVD and Blu-ray. The episode is the unaired 8.5 episode which brings back the entire team for more so that it fits in continuity wise with everyone. The release is coming with a few extras as well with a radio show, commentary and first press editions of photographs included.
The property began with a first season that began airing back in 2011 and returned for a second season this summer. While other shows listed all the volumes up front, Shochiku only showcased the first release early on and it’s pretty straightforward material. That volume, with two episodes, is scheduled for an October 30th, 2013 release for 7,350 yen. The initial solicitation information doesn’t provide any insights into what the disc will have for extras either or if there are any first press edition materials to be had.
Plot Concept: The story takes place in Seto Inland Sea and is about a girl who likes taking pictures.
