After some cute fun with a good portion of the cast the last time around in the bathroom – where there is no littler box, Bananya shifts gears a bit this time around as a balloon enters the picture. With it in the living room, it naturally attracts the attention of the gang as they try to get closer to it as it floats about. Bananya gets the closest, which is cute, and they eventually get it close so they can start exploring it and all the thrills that it offers. Bouncing Bananya’s is certainly cute at first but they get so hyper over it, comically so, that you just wait for the fallout in hopes that it’ll be as good as it should be. Of course, it’s a kids show so it goes only so far, but you have to appreciate the fallout from it.
In Summary:
Bananya has a cute episode overall as a small number of the gang get to play with a balloon that’s floating about and goes about as expected. The simplicity of the series is both a strength and weakness that it hasn’t quite mastered well but it has these one-off episodes that are more amusing than they should be, even if I know I’m foolishly wishing that it would go just a bit further and crazier with the fallout.
