Tsurezurenaru Ayatsuri Mugenan pay a visit in this week’s Tokiko’s R-R-R-Room.

After a less than engaging dance lesson the last time around, this episode brings us back to Tokiko’s R-R-R-Room to work with Tsurezurenaru Ayatsuri Mugenan. This trio is certainly amusing just for the daruma as even Tokiko can’t figure out how to deal with it and just goes right to commercial, which features the trio in a historical way. It’s not a great commercial itself but I love the quality of the animation for it and just the overall presentation. A and Un do pretty well in being serious and introducing themselves but Tokiko just can’t handle Darudayu and how that plays out, especially since it goes very big and elaborate. Tokiko’s expressions are priceless and I really like the way the trio are presented with the animation quality as it just takes the whole thing up a few notches.
In Summary:
Show By Rock!! Short!! has a simple enough episode here that’s really little more than character introductions and a commercial spot within it to give the cast something else to do. It’s not great in that sense to be sure but I really do like the visual quality of it with the pop of color and just the designs across the board. Even Tokiko gets to take things up a few notches, which is frightening enough. This is still a somewhat odd series overall but it’s hitting some amusing notes along the way.
