We Without Wings
MVM Entertainment has added another license for the 2014 season with We Without Wings, which will land at a to be determined future date for this year. The format of the release for the show hasn’t been determined yet, but it did get a dual format release from FUNimation in 2013 for North America. That release contained the original twelve episode run and the 00 episode as well as extras such as two commentary tracks and the clean opening and closing, which is expected to be included here.
Plot concept: Timid Takashi wants to escape to an alternate world where he is a heralded knight, but is held back by thoughts of his younger sister and his girlfriend. Part-timer and all-around upbeat guy Shuusuke has a disastrous first encounter with a woman who turns out to be his new co-worker. Handyman Hayato is a hard-boiled loner who has random encounters with two gangs and a girl with a uniform fetish. Throw in plenty of fan-service, random humor, an alternate medieval world, and your narrator DJ Condor, and you get We Without Wings – Under the Innocent Sky.
