With the first episode having just premiered, Kyoto Animation is doing a bit of additional promotion for Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! REN with a pair of new commercials for the series. Just like the last spot that’s posted directly from the official Kyoto Animation channel, it’s just encoded at 360p and doesn’t hold up well considering the color and designs of the series. The first series ran in the fall of 2012 and has been picked up by Sentai Filmworks for release and it’s expected we’ll see the same route for the second season once the show gets closer to its premiere.
Series concept: Yuuta Togashi suffered from chuunibyou while he was in middle school. When he graduated, he put that dark history behind him and forgot about it… or he was supposed to. High school was smooth sailing and full of enjoyment—until the unavoidable, sad event occurs. The event that locks Yuuta into a contract with Rikka Takanashi and disrupts his desperately ordinary life.
