Viz Media is bringing out the third and final film of the Berserk trilogy on April 15th and the cover art and extras have surfaced for it. The biggest confirmation we get out of this is the most important for fans in that it is being slated as an 18+ release. Viz Media indicated that this was the plan all along back when it was acquired and it’s great to see they’re following through with it. The two formats have some different extras to them though which makes the Blu-ray release a bit more desirable as it has an exclusive.
The DVD release comes with Production Art Gallery, Japanese Trailer, Japanese TV Spots, Japanese Teaser, Ending Theme “Breakthrough”.
The Blu-ray release has all the above plus an Interview with Eiko Tanaka, Outtakes and The Battle of Doldrey US Premiere Highlight Reel.
