Set for premiere in Japan on July 5th, the home video schedule and plans for Love Lab have been revealed. Distributed by Aniplex Japan, the thirteen episode series is getting a seven volume release where the first volume has just one episode to entice you. That volume will run you 4,200 yen on Blu-ray and 2100 yen on DVD, or 3150 yen for the limited edition version. When it comes to the remaining six volumes, the Blu-rays, which are all limited edition runs, will go for 7350 yen each while the limited edition DVDs will set you back 6300 yen each. Though you can get regular edition DVDs as well for just 5250 yen. The releases begin on September 20th, 2013.
The details of what will be included in the limited edition releases, besides specially designed cases, is not yet known.
Plot concept: The Fujisaki Girls Academy is known for their school body being composed of very proper students. The most prominent one of them is Maki, the student president who is admired by her classmates for her calm and polite demeanor. On the other hand, Kurahashi Riko is also admired but for having a very forward and boyish personality. Riko accidentally walks into Maki while she’s practicing kissing with a pillow and learns that she isn’t what everyone thinks she is. Riko is forced into keeping Maki’s secret and join her in practicing all aspects of romance like holding hands and more.
