Akame ga KILL!
Another manga series is getting the anime adaptation as Akame ga KILL! is the latest to get the announcement. Based on the manga by Takahiro with artwork by Testuya Tashiro that began in 2010, TOHO registered a domain name for it recently and it’s been confirmed by the upcoming issue of Gangan Joker that’s due out on Wednesday with a big spread on it. The property is getting a big push these days as there are a couple of game projects that are in the works along with a prequel series that kicked off recently. For the main project, it’s debuting its ninth compiled volume this week.
Plot concept: Tatsumi is a fighter who just got robbed by a pretty girl, but his luck seems to be looking up, as another pretty girl has taken him in. What he doesn’t know is that this girl is about to be visited by a family of assassins (including the girl who robbed him) and they might be the good guys, and be recruiting…
