It looks like another new series from some familiar names is coming up later this year with Weekly Shounen Sunday announcing that Detective Zeno and the Seven Closed Room Murders will begin with the December 29th, 2017 installment. This comes from writer Kyoichi Nanatsuki, the writer behind Project ARMS, and artist Teppei Sugiyama, marking their first serialized work.

Nanatsuki’s previous projects have largely gone over well during a different period where PRoject ARMS ran for twenty-two volumes way back in 1997 and got a 52-episode anime TV series adaptation. His most recent work was with artist Kyung-Il Yang with Area D that ran for fourteen volumes between 2012 and 2016.

Plot Concept: The series deals with a murder that took place at a stadium. Appearing on the scene is the detective Zeno, who is famed for having solved a number of murders in barely a year. The detective, who always solves his case with an emotionless expression, hides a secret.
