While the twenty-five covers that landed from Empire Magazine have had a mix of reactions, with a lot of uncertainty instilled because of the quality of them, the magazine itself has a number of new images out from the film itself, which certainly look better. We get a new look at Hugh Jackman of course, some Ian McKellan material, some Jennifer Lawrence bits since they want to draw in her fans more as well as a look at some of the future survivors. The film is set for a May 23rd, 2014 release.
Directed by Bryan Singer, the film stars Jams McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Hugh Jackman, Peter Dinklage, Nicholas Hoult, Ian McKellan, Patrick Stewart, Shawn Ashmore, Ellen Page, Omar Sy, and Halle Berry.
Plot concept: The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from “X-Men: First Class,” in an epic battle that must change the past — to save our future.
