Attack On Titan

Are things not moving fast enough for getting a Blu-ray version of Attack on Titan into your hands? Especially if you just want English subtitles? Hong Kong distributor Panorama is set to help you out as they’ve begun to release the series on Blu-ray and DVD with English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese subtitles. It also contains the original Japanese language and the Cantonese language dub.

The first two volumes landed this past week at various retailers that stock Hong Kong releases and are priced at about $30 domestically where each volume gets two episodes. It’s like the good old days all over again. Check out the breakdown of volumes and a couple of retailers here.

Series concept: Known in Japan as Shingeki no Kyojin, many years ago, the last remnants of humanity were forced to retreat behind the towering walls of a fortified city to escape the massive, man-eating Titans that roamed the land outside their fortress. Only the heroic members of the Scouting Legion dared to stray beyond the safety of the walls – but even those brave warriors seldom returned alive. Those within the city clung to the illusion of a peaceful existence until the day that dream was shattered, and their slim chance at survival was reduced to one horrifying choice: kill – or be devoured!
