Chiisana Oji-san

Never underestimate Japan to do something odd and unusual, something that a series like Chiisana Oji-san definitely fits under. Based on the manga by Noi Asano that began in 2008 and has a couple of volumes published so far, it received an anime adaptation that began airing in the fall of 2012 on Chiba TV for a total of thirty episodes that clock in at fifteen minutes total because they’re so short. Now, Media Factory has got them coming out on DVD at least so you can sample the tale of a young woman that finds a tiny old man and puts him in her pocket to take him with him for just 1,575 yen when it’s released on April 25th, 2014.

Plot concept: This is the story of the main character living together with a mysterious mini middle-aged man.
