Paul Bettany
After performing as the voice of Jarvis for three Iron Man films and some time in The AVengers, Paul Bettany is getting an upgrade with Avengers: Age of Ultron as he’s signed on to play the character of Vision. Which makes a lot of sense and has been bandied about for some time in that the artificial intelligence that Tony Stark created could end up moving into his own body and life, separate from everything else. There’s also the useful potential inclusion of Michael Douglas in the film in some way to try and help shepherd that along, which would provide for a smooth transition to Ant-Man a few months later.
Marvel Studios themselves aren’t commenting at the time, but Bettanry was spotted this week in London with Joss Whedon and Jeremy Renner.
