A recent light novel series has gotten the green light to be adapted into an anime as the sixth volume of Seiken Tsukai no World Break included that news on the jacket with its release this week. The series comes from Akamitsu Awamura and it began bacn in 2012 with illustrations by refeia. The series has a new manga adaption coming along this year from Monthly Comp Ace and the newest volume of the novel series also has a special bundled version with a drama CD, which means we’re likely to see some of the same actors cross over into that. That cast includes:
- Kaito Ishikawa as Moroha Haimura
- Ayana Taketatsu as Satsuki Ranjō
- Aoi Yūki as Shizuno Urushibara
- Yui Ogura as Maya Shimon
- Maaya Uchida as Haruka Momochi
No details are provided about the anime adaptation itself, who is involved or when it will debut.
Plot concept: The “campus sword & sorcery” story is set in a private high school that brings together “saviors,” youths with awakened memories from past lives. Some of them are Shirogane who fight enemies with weapons and techniques gleaned from the Puraana powers from their own bodies. Others are Kuroma who wipe out enemies, with magic to manipulate the Maana powers that surpass physics. A boy named Moroha Haimura enrolls in this school. He is the first person in history with past lives of both Shirogane and Kuroma.
