While Anime Limited may have had some concerns early on about hitting their $30,000 funding goal to get the project going, that had to have been blown away after they achieved the numbers in just over a day. now, halfway through the project, it’s hit the third threshold after hitting the $60,000 mark to get the dub created. The project has now passed the $75,000 mark and they’ve updated below on what they’re looking at for the next stretch goal, a reminder about the new tier and some hints about the pamphlet.

1- New Stretch Goal!(?)

Now that we’ve hit both stretch goals we know you’re all itching for a third – and I think we all know what you’re looking for. Ponies! Nah, I’m kidding – it’s unicorns. We are holding off on announcing a new stretch goal – mostly because we’re hoping to offer you guys the Mai Mai Miracle soundtrack. We really want to bring the soundtrack to you all as a thanks for being so supportive and generous and believe me, we’re working hard for it. We’re still in deep negotiations and should hopefully have some news for you next week. Finger’s crossed everyone!

2- New Tiers! Early Birds & Not-So-Early Birds

As promised, we have made a new tier option available to everyone! From today until 16:00 GMT on Saturday, you’ll be able to get your hands on a bare bones copy of Mai Mai Miracle for $30. After that, the price goes up to $35.

What do you get with the $30/$35 set? Easy! Standard amaray packaging with reversible cover, DVD + BD combi-pack, digital wallpaper, digital pamphlet, digital artbook and credit for helping bring about the English language release of Mai Mai Miracle! Pretty groovy, huh? The $30/$35 tiers will not include the digital version of the film, as that will only be offered as an extra for the $45 and over tiers. This is to keep this tier as cheap as possible in advance of the main release.

3- So, What About This Pamphlet Then?

We’re pulling together a nice visualisation of what you can expect in the translated pamphlet. There will be photos and a full explanation of what kind of content will be included. Plus an idea of size and page numbers. We’re working on this now, so keep an eye out for updates tomorrow!
