‘Guardians of The Galaxy’ Introduces Drax

While a lot of movie fans won’t know Dave Bautista too well, he’s had a few roles prior to Guardians of the Galaxy, including Riddick where he got to work with Vin Diesel. Where he is more well known is in the wrestling world where he was known as Batista and was a six time world champion winning the World Heavyweight Championship four times and the WWE Championship twice. He’s taking on the role of Drax in this film and the new thirty second piece shows off a bit more of the character that wasn’t in the trailer and gives Bautista some time where we get to see that he’s definitely taking ownership of the character – which can translate really well when it gets into working with crowd and conventions, especially with younger fans based on his time in the wrestling world.
