Strange+ Episode 7
What They Say:
Kou comes to a certain city, in search of his older brother Takumi, who ran away from home and disappeared. Thinking it’d be rather difficult to find his older brother, Kou decides not to go back until he finds him… but he ends up finding him immediately. However, when Kou is reunited with Takumi, he had become the head of the Mikuni Detective Agency. Takumi appears to have no intentions to go back home. Kou then decides that if his older brother isn’t going to come home, he’s going to stay at the Mikuni Detective Agency.

With a fun little callback in the previous episode to the first one, Strange+ at least proved it’s kind of aware of what goes on within itself. This episode focuses on Masamune as he’s being accosted by a new arrival that’s just frustrated with the way Masamune is seemingly always ahead of him when he goes out to get new games for the midnight debuts. Masamune is definitely your standard gamer otaku here that ends up in a whole lot of awkward situations as it progresses, much to the frustration of everyone else since he manages to fall into seemingly every trap set for him. But you have to love his perserverence.
In Summary:
The story of this episode is that it’s important to get your orders in early for games so you don’t miss out, especially with bonus and first press goods. There’s not much else to say, though we’ll include the end illustration because, well, whoa.
