We’ve had a number of pieces come up in the last few weeks for the planned spring 2014 launch of Fairy Tail where we’ve gotten to see the new character designs for the cast. The new look comes courtesy of the new character designer, Shinji Takeuchi, who has joined the production that’s largely made up of the same people from when the series went off the air last year. In addition to getting a new key visual that puts everyone together, there was also the reveal that the March 30th, 2014 event at Dragon King Festival 2014 where manga creator Hiro Mashima will be at will also have the cast members there. This provides a good pre-broadcast session with the cast and the chance to see an advanced screening of the show – in Japan of course.
