The whole Black Sky Project has been weaving its way through a lot of the Dark Horse Comics superhero titles for several months now and things are definitely looking like they’re picking up with the first issue of Blackout. We’ve got a multi-page preview that has come out for it that shows off a bit of what’s to come. The miniseries, set to debut on March 26th, 2014, is written by Frank Barbiere with artwork by Colin Lorimer. It also makes out with a bonus story feature for King Tiger that’s being done by Randy Stradley and Doug Wheatley. And there’s also the quite appealing cover artwork by Micah Kaneshiro.
Plot concept: Scott Travers’s special suit lets him move through our world unseen and untouchable within a shadowy parallel dimension—but he doesn’t know how the suit works or where it came from. With his benefactor missing and unfriendlies after his Blackout gear, Scott must find answers before the answers find him!
