Academy Award Winners Roundup

The OscarsWe had an absolute blast with folks last night on Twitter as we live tweeted the event with our thoughts and predictions as it mostly went as expected, with a few surprises along the way to make it quite enjoyable. The majority of the winners were mostly safe bets, though we felt like Sandra Bullock deserved the win for Gravity as best actress and we were surprised to see Matthew McConaughey take home the best actor award, though he’s definitely gone through a great revival with his career that you can see some of that bleeding into this nod as well. All in all, it was a fun experience watching it, seeing the quirky way Ellen Degeneres handled the event and interacting with a whole lot of readers along the way.

Still, poor Leonardo Dicaprio. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride. Someday, Leo!
