The fifth installment of the Animeow series from Manga Entertainment to promote the properties that they’re streaming has gone live and this time it tackles Neon Genesis Evangelion. Th clip runs just under 90 seconds and goes through a pretty ballet style action sequence with a number of cat faces added to it. It’s the kind of concept that certainly can work – and does at times here – but it also leaves you wanting something more out of it to really drive it home.
Of course, we’re still wondering how this gets past approval in Japan since they’re pretty strict about what’s allowed to be done with their properties in contracts.
