With Yowamushi Pedal slated for a thirty-nine episode run or so, it’s not a surprise to see a new promotional video surface midway through it to try and gain some attention. Particularly as the series is working towards the next phase of its arc with the interhigh regional event coming into focus after spending so much time on introducing the foundations, the characters and the initial races. The series is currently streaming on Crunchyroll and is available to viewers in the United States, Canada, Caribbean, South Africa, and Central and South America.

Plot concept: Onoda Sakamichi is a rather timid, anime-loving first-year student at Sohoku High School. Upon entering high school, he tried to join the anime research club, but after meeting Imaizumi Shunsuke, a renowned cyclist since middle school, and Naruko Shoukichi, who swept the Kansai cycling championship, he ended up joining the competitive cycling club. less
