The series takes the amusing approach of bringing out a Valentine’s Day episode on White Day as we see the guys being hopeful for what they’re getting and some cute moments early on of tension and the actual getting of presents. Within Tomoya’s grade, Ruri’s brother Hayasaka gets a ton of stuff and the guys are envious, but it’s Fujisaki that Tomoya really wants something from. She has stuff for Tomoya and his male friends, but that’s all kind of spoiled a bit with the way Ichika is stalking Tomoya which in turn leads to a comical fight as Ichika takes it out on Fujisaki, who certainly won’t back down at this point and especially on a day like this.
In Summary:
While there are definitely some good moments here, and a lot of guys would like to have Hayasaka’s problems even with the difficulties that they do entail, the show has a bit of a less humorous feeling to it in a way since there’s not much in the way of Ichika here. And she really is the driver of the humor since she causes so many problems and inserts herself into things in a lot of ways. With that being less of a thing here, it’s a softer and more smile inducing show, though you have to love the way she watches what’s going on like a proper stalker.
