While it’s origins are not sourced beyond appearing at Comic Book Movie, we have what is likely the working logo for the seventh installment in the Star Wars movie franchise. The film, set for December 2015, has not had a formal title revealed yet and is racing through the casting process ahead of a production start in the next couple of months. With the way that things have to be covered in some form, a simple working logo like this actually works quite well since it plays on the truly classic simplicity of the original film and its logo while dropping in the seven in a creative way.
We figure this is pretty legitimate, but won’t be the finalized form in the slightest as it’s hard to imagine them changing the nature of the logo itself after the first six films and the way J.J. Abrams is trying to play the continuation of the saga. Still, we like it a lot.
