As we only have a few weeks left until the fourth season of Game of Thrones debuts on April 6th on HBO, the network has smartly put together a nice little recap of the third season for fans and newcomers alike. With each season growing in the number of viewers and fans, making something as dense as this accessible as it goes on is a huge challenge. With this new recap, which runs about twenty-five minutes, it’s less about lazy fans rather than a good mix of drawing people in and getting them excited. We get a lot of clips and important pieces put through as it deals with the expansive cast but it also brings in a lot of the actors to talk about the season as well, going into their motivations and more.
With how little fantasy material is made in either TV or movies, the series is setting a high bar for those that follow and the dense nature of even the recap says a lot.
