Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei
Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei, aka The Irregular At Magic High School is slated for an April 4th premiere date and through the official site, a new thirty second TV spot has been released as well as a new key visual for the show that features the main cast. This comes after the recent casting news which had Marina Inoue joining as Mari Watanabe, Ryohei Kimura as Hattori Gyobu and Junichi Suwabe as Katsuto Jumonji. The light novel series has done well since its introduction in the summer of 2011 as earlier this year saw the release of the twelfth installment for it. The show is definitely on the fast track as part of Dengeki Bunko’s 20th anniversary push to bring more of its materials into the spotlight. The series is set to be directed by Ono Manabu with character designs by Ishida Kana. Animation is being done by Madhouse.
Plot concept: Magic is a product of neither legends nor fairy tales, but instead has become a technology of reality since a time unknown to people. Supernatural power became a technology systematized through magic, while magic became a technical skill. A “Supernatural Power User” became a “Magic Technician.” Magic Technicians (in short, Magicians) are nurtured through Magic High Schools and Universities.
