While the series was originally announced back in October, it’s had a pretty quiet development overall without a lot of promotion from the Rondo Robe group. With the first promotional video has arriving back in December for Black Bullet, we now get the second spot this week. The series is set for an April 9th, 2014 premiere with Rondo Robe also announcing that the opening song will be handled by Nagi Yanagi. Black Bullet is one of several light novels that’s part of the Dengeki Bunko library that they’re turning into anime form these days in order to bolster their position in the market. The original work had its sixth volume released this past October, which is when the anime adaptation was first announced. The property began back in the summer of 2011 from Shiden Kanaki and Saku Ukai and it has some great names behind it with Masayuki Kojima directing based on scripts by Tatsuhiko Urahata with character designs by Chihi Umishima. The main cast includes:

Plot concept: A near future, where humans have been defeated by the viral parasites named Gastrea. They have been exiled into a small territory and live in despair, side-by-side in terror.
