UQ Holder
The middle of the month for manga has arrived and like a lot of these release weeks, it’s a bit smaller but also varied between the kinds of titles we get and what publishers are offering up books. Vertical is definitely the odd man out here with their release of Deco Cake!, which isn’t your typical release in a way, since it’s not manga but gives us an opportunity to do some decorating in a very Japanese way. Beyond that, Viz Media has a pair of ongoings landing and Seven Seas Entertainment brings out a few strong books, including more Mayo Chiki! which continues to delight us. Kodansha is the one that feels like they go big this week as we get the start of the xxxHOLIC omnibus releases but also the start of a new series with UQ Holder debuting.
