Kamigami no Asobi
Spring 2014 series Kamigami no Asobi is getting some new information out ahead of its premiere as Kadokawa has set their plans for the home video release of the series, making a number of notes in the information about it being similar to Uta no Prince-sama. The show is set for an April 6th, 2014 premiere and brings this dating sim game to anime form with Brain’s Base adapting it. The series is scheduled for a twelve episode run that will have its first DVD and Blu-ray release on June 25th, 2014 where the DVD releases will be priced at 6,090 yen each while the Blu-ray releases will be priced at 7,140 yen. There aren’t any extras listed for the releases yet, but the second through sixth volumes all list that there will be a character CD enclosed in the package as well.
Plot concept: The story revolves around heroine Yui Kusanagi, who is ordered by Zeus, a god and the headmaster of a school he created, to teach the meaning of love to young and handsome gods. The reason he has for doing this is to cancel the negative effects of the weakening bond between the world of the divine and the world of the humans.
