Gundam Reconguista in G
While we have to wait until 2015 for Gundam: The Origin to debut, Bandai and Sunrise aren’t going to go too long without a Gundam project out there as they’ve also announced with a new promotional video Gundam Reconguista in G, which launched its official site here: http://www.g-reco.net/. The series is set for an October premiere from Sunrise and takes place within the Universal Century world, albeit in a time removed from it. The show is bringing in Kenichi Yoshida for the character designs and Kimitoshi Yamane, and Akira Yasuda for the mechanical design. Music is set to be provided by Yuugo Kanno, recently of Psycho-Pass. Yoshida was responsible for character design on the Eureka Seven series as well as Overman King Gainer.
Plot Concept: It is set in “Reguild Century,” the era set after the Universal Century, and it will follow the adventures of a pilot trainee named Beruri Zenamu in Capital Guard, an organization protecting a space elevator.
