April 2015 is the tenth anniversary of the noitaminA block and they’re doing up a bit of a celebration for it, which kicked off with this new three and a half minute short today. They also did it up pretty nicely with a personalized start-up that blended into the new 10th anniversary version of the noitaminA logo, which has been refreshed for the year.
The story is a cute one as it follows a young girl who grow sup and has her problems in adjusting to change as she can no longer use the chair that once made up a big part of her life. It’s done without dialogue, though we get a few vocal effects along the way, but in the end tells a great little story in a way that short films can with whimsy, imagination and utter love of the form of storytelling.
