Tamako Love Story
Set for release in theaters on April 26th, Kyoto Animation has brought out a new TV spot and 90 second promo for the theatrical feature for the Tamako Market TV series called Tamako Love Story. As mentioned with the tagline of the “love component will be bigger in the movie as the name implies” when it was announced back in December 2013, it definitely looks that way. The feature has the full official site up and running with new Japanese language interviews and some updated character pieces.
The main team is back with all the voice actors returning for the feature with Naoka Yamada taking up the directorial duties again with a script by Reiko Yoshida. Character designs will once again be handled by Yukiko Horiguchi.
Plot concept: Tamako knows everything about mochi, the traditional Japanese dessert treats. When she’s not attending her first year of high school, she works at Tama-ya, her family’s mochi shop. However, friendships, rivalries, and strange new feelings are beginning to make her life a sticky, complicated mess! There’s guaranteed to be a sweet treat with every adventure when you take a walk through TAMAKO MARKET!
