Date A Live II
Fans of Date-A-Live got a look at the second TV spot that debuted a couple of days ago and the push is on ahead of the April 11th, 2014 premiere date for the second seasonas a third spot has debuted that clocks in at 45 seconds. The series comes from the light novels of the same name by Koushi Tachibana and was animated by AIC Plus+ under director Keitaro Motonaga. The first series was simulcast in North America by FUNimation and it’s expected that they’ll be simulcasting the second season as well.
Plot concept: Itsuka Shido is a high school boy. On the last day of the spring holidays, an explosion destroys the town and a girl in armor appears in front of him. Shido’s sister-in-law, Kotori, tells him that the girl is called “Special Disasterous Designated Creature: Spirit”, which causes a timespace quake. Kotori disclosed that she is the commander of the anti-spirit organization Ratatosk and orders him to go out on a date with the spirit girl. Kotori says, “I don’t ask you to beat the spirit. Just let her fall in love with you and save the world.”
