The month of April has kicked off in regards to new anime DVD/BD releases and we’ve definitely got some good stuff landing this week with a mix of new and old and welcome rescues. On the new side, Maiden Japan has slid in with Happiness while Sentai Filmworks is bringing out Ebiten on DVD and Blu-ray, both releases of which are subtitled only. FUNimation has one new release this week as they bring out the third Dragon Ball Z Blu-ray collection with a large number of episodes and fun. Nozomi Entertainment has a rescue that I’m glad to see surface with Princess Nine getting a new shot at life with its awesome bilingual baseball fun. And they’re going back to the well a bit with w new release of The Third in a tight, priced down collection that should be checked out. And not to be incomplete, Critical Mass Video has brought out some older hentai that’s been around the block a few times but is still worth spending some time with.
