We Without Wings
FUNimation is gearing up for the September 3rd release of We Without Wings, which is so full of fanservice that even YouTube wouldn’t take the video. Which isn’t a first as there have been other FUNimation trailers that pushed their boundaries a bit. You can see the fanservice heavy trailer here on FUNimation’s site. Known as Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai – Under the Innocent Sky when it originally aired in the spring of 2011, the twelve episode series comes from studio Nomad and is based on the eroge visual novel of the same name by Navel which came out back in 2009.

Series Concept: Timid Takashi wants to escape to an alternate world where he is a heralded knight, but is held back by thoughts of his younger sister and his girlfriend. Part-timer and all around upbeat guy Shuusuke has a disastrous first encounter with a woman who turns out to be his new co-worker. Handyman Hayato is a hard-boiled loner that has random encounters with two gangs and a girl with a uniform fetish. Throw in plenty of fan-service, random humor, an alternate medieval world, and your narrator DJ Condor, and you get “We Without Wings – Under the Innocent Sky”.
