Isshukan Friends
Crunchyroll has made their latest announcement in the spring 2014 anime bonanza that we have with the pickup of One Week Friends. The series is scheduled to stream on the service starting on Sunday, April 6th, 2014 at 12pm ET for premium members and a week later for free members. The series is scheduled to run for twelve episodes.
While Sentai Filmworks has licensed this release for the North American market, Crunchyroll will be streaming it to viewers in the USA, Canada, Latin America, Spain, Portugal, France and DOM/TOM, Belgium, Switzerland, Andorra, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco.
Plot concept: Based on the slice-of-life manga by Matcha Hazuki, One Week Friends tells the story of Yuki Hase, a high schooler who notices that one of his classmates, Kaori Fujimiya, is always alone. After approaching her, Kaori rejects him saying that she loses every memory of her friends each week. Unwilling to give up, Yuki continues to try and befriend Kaori every week.
