Alien Abduction
I have to admit, there’s a bit of a fondness for some of these types of films as they come out. While a lot are pretty bad, sometimes you can find some interesting things in there that can work well, especially when you’re up late at night and an odd scare can do you good. Directed by first time director Matty Beckerman, three new clips for the found footage film Alien Abduction has landed. There have been a few films with this title over the years of course, and it’s not the first to play this route. The film is set for an April 4th, 2014 release from IFC Midnight. Beckerman was behind the original concept with Robert Alvin Lewis writing the script for it. It stars Kate Sigismund, Corey Eid, Riley Polanski, Jillian Clare, Jeff Bowser and Peter Holden.
Plot concept: A vacationing family encounters an alien threat in this pulse-pounding thriller based on the real-life Brown Mountain Lights phenomenon in North Carolina.
