Cardcaptor Sakura The Movie

It’s almost time to relive one of the glory days of being an anime fan as the license rescue of Cardcaptor Sakura: The Movie now has a release date from Discotek Media. The feature, which will be getting a Blu-ray release later on, is set for September 30th, 2014 and will feature the original Japanese language with English subtitles as well as the previously created uncut English language dub. Geneon Entertainment originally released this way back in 2003 even as they released the TV series largely in Japanese with subtitles only. The feature itself came out in 2000, making a lot of fans of the property suddenly feeling a lot older. Check out the cover art for the release below.

Plot concept: Sakura bravely faced the many challenges needed to finish the capture and transformation of the Clow Cards into her own Sakura Cards, but can she reveal her deepest feelings to Shaoran?
