Aldnoah Zero
Mecha shows continue to come out here and there and the latest one set for a July 2014 premiere definitely should gain a little attention considering those involved. Aldnoah Zero, which comes from Gen Urobochi of Madoka Magica and Psycho-Pass fame, has its first TV spot debuting which in sixteen seconds gives us a good glimpse of the show. Set up at A-1 Pictures and TROYCA, the series is set to be directed by Ei Aoki with Takako Shimura handling the character designs while Kenji Teraoka will be dealing with the mecha designs. With the original story by Urobochi, Katsuhiko Takaama will be handling the series composition overall. Natsuki Hanae, Kenshi Ono and Sora Amamiya have all been signed on for leading roles.

Plot concept: “Let justice be done. Though the heavens fall.” In 1972, a hypergate was discovered on the surface of the moon. But then, humankind came into contact with beings from Mars, leading to war.
